By reading FiscaWorld you accept what follows. It is short, and the second point is the one that matters.

1. What this site does

FiscaWorld gathers the tax rates of 217 countries, makes them readable, compares them, and publishes articles about moving abroad for tax reasons. Access is free and open, with no account.

2. What this site is not

We do not give tax, legal or financial advice. Tax advice is a regulated profession, practised by people who take responsibility for your specific situation. What you read here is general information, identical for everyone, and it knows nothing about your residence, your income, your citizenship or your commitments.

Three people reading the same page can face three different tax outcomes. Before deciding to move, to set up a company or to invest, talk to a professional who will look at your case.

3. Accuracy and freshness

We take accuracy seriously. Rates are sourced, the verification date is shown on every country page, and an error reported to us gets fixed, including inside older articles.

That said, tax law moves fast, sometimes overnight, and a reform voted in December applies in January. So we do not guarantee that what is published here is accurate, complete or current. Always check with the official source of the country concerned before acting on anything. That is exactly why we cite those sources.

Spotted a mistake? Write to [email protected] with your source. It is the best favour you can do the next reader.

4. Liability

You use this site at your own risk. We cannot be held liable for a decision taken on the basis of what you read here, nor for any loss that follows from it. This limit does not apply to gross negligence or wilful misconduct on our part, as the law provides.

5. Intellectual property

The texts, the structure of the site, the FiScore and the way it is calculated, the brand and the logo belong to us. You may quote a page if you name the source and link to it. You may not copy the site wholesale, scrape the database, or republish our texts elsewhere.

Flags and public data remain what they are: freely usable material.

6. Links to other sites

We link to official sources, firms and tax administrations so that you can check what we say. We do not control what those sites publish and are not answerable for it.

If we ever put you in touch with partner advisers, that will be stated plainly on the page concerned, including the nature of the commercial relationship.

7. Your data

What we collect, why, and how to have it deleted is all in our privacy policy.

8. Hosting

9. Changes to these terms

We may change this page. The date at the top says when that last happened. The version online is the one that applies.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, and failing an amicable settlement, the French courts have jurisdiction.
